Vision Academic City
Spanning 24 acres in Marora village, Nuh (formerly Mewat), Haryana, Vision Academic City stands as a transformative educational hub designed to break generational poverty, combat child dropouts, and nurture leaders from India's most aspirational regions.
Mewat: The Past and the Present
Located in southern Haryana, the region historically known as Mewat—now officially the Nuh district—has long been one of India's most socio-economically disadvantaged areas. Despite its proximity to the National Capital Region (NCR), decades of educational deprivation, poor health indicators, inadequate infrastructure, and widespread poverty have hindered its development.
The district came into national focus when it was identified as one of India's most underdeveloped regions under the Government of India's Aspirational Districts Programme. According to the NITI Aayog (2018), Mewat ranked at the bottom among the 101 aspirational districts, highlighting the urgent need for focused interventions in education, healthcare, livelihoods, and basic infrastructure.
Today, Mewat is gradually changing through community-led initiatives, civil society organizations, and dedicated institutional investments. School enrolment has increased, awareness regarding girls' education has grown, and rural infrastructure is beginning to yield positive results.
