Expanding Educational Opportunities Across India
Education is not only a fundamental human right but also a crucial means to combat child labor and poverty. From modern schools and scholarships to regional campuses, we build pathways toward self-reliance.
Re-engaging Dropouts & Building Modern Learning Spaces

Schools & Foundational Education
Access to education is a cornerstone of social progress and human development. It’s not merely a basic human right, but also a crucial instrument for addressing multifaceted global issues, such as child labor and poverty.
The Scholar School
We firmly believe in the transformative power of education. We recognize that all too often, children drop out of the educational system due to poverty and difficult circumstances, finding themselves trapped in child labor. To break this cycle, we endeavor to bring dropout children back into the educational fold while investing in physical modern infrastructure that creates safe and conducive learning spaces.
Currently, Human Welfare Foundation operates model schools across different states, touching the lives of countless children and communities as beacons of hope and academic excellence.

Scholarships & Institutional Enablement
Building sustainable institutions and investing directly in human potential through infrastructure development, teacher training, and financial relief.
Merit cum Means Scholarship
Human Welfare Foundation's Scholarship Program is a flagship educational initiative aimed at ensuring that no deserving student is deprived of quality education due to financial constraints. Guided by the vision of creating equal opportunities for all, the program supports meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families, enabling them to pursue school education, higher studies, and professional courses with confidence.
Beyond financial assistance, the program nurtures talent, encourages academic excellence, and inspires students to achieve their full potential, contributing to long-term socio-economic development.
School Capacity Building
A well-developed school infrastructure is fundamental to quality education. Over the past two decades, HWF has transformed more than 70 schools through comprehensive infrastructural development—constructing safe classrooms, modern sanitation, clean drinking water units, libraries, and laboratories under its School Capacity Building Project.
Building on this physical success, HWF expands its intervention into academic excellence through regular regional workshops across North India for school managers, administrators, and teachers, equipping them with modern pedagogy and management approaches.
School Enrollment Program
Despite progress, thousands of children face barriers to regular attendance due to poverty. According to ASER 2024 and UDISE+ 2023–24 data, millions of children remain vulnerable to dropping out.
A simple school kit containing notebooks, stationery, and a school bag reduces financial stress on families. HWF has distributed more than 50,000 school kits and operates the Student Support Program, providing fee assistance to ensure financial adversity never halts education.
Community Learning Centre (CLC)
Human Welfare Foundation’s Community Learning Centre (CLC) initiative aims to bridge educational gaps and expand learning opportunities for children and families from marginalized and underserved communities. The centres provide basic education to out-of-school children, prepare them for admission to formal schools, and offer additional academic support to school-going children who are at risk of dropping out.
Beyond children’s education, the initiative promotes adult literacy, vocational skills development, and awareness of health, nutrition, and livelihood opportunities, empowering women and community members to become self-reliant contributors to society.
